WHY
We believe in the power of education to help end poverty, and work to ensure that children in rural Uganda have the best opportunity to learn. We focus on giving often vulnerable children the right infrastructure, resources, quality teaching and parental support to help them get the most from their time at school and go on to lead productive, healthy and happy lives.
We know that to make sustainable changes we need to address the unique needs of each community we help. That's why we pool your donation with other supporters' to make your money go further, funding projects that can make a real difference in rural Africa.
WHAT DOES YOUR SPONSORSHIP PROVIDE
For £50 a month, your sponsorship gives the children in our program the resources and materials they need to go to school and get an education.
With a Change Tomorrow sponsorship, you don’t just support an impoverished child to make it through the day. Your gifts of care and encouragement empower them to break the cycle of poverty in their lives and in their communities.
Your sponsorship removes the barriers of immediate needs, so children can grow spiritually and physically. The result is a positive long-term outlook. With a focus on the Gospel and on education, your sponsorship can make a difference now and for eternity!

HOW TO SPONSOR A CHILD

Sponsor a child of any age or gender.

About 10 days after you sign up to become a child sponsor, you’ll receive a welcome kit in the mail. Your welcome letter will introduce you to his or her life, include a child photo and more information about how your sponsorship impacts their entire community.

Watch as your ongoing support enables the work that empowers the child you sponsor. As a sponsor, you’ll have the opportunity to exchange letters and continue to get updates on how your sponsorship is making an incredible difference.

CHANGE TOMORROW PRIMARY SCHOOL
WHY
Every day of Christian education is filled with opportunities to reinforce biblical precepts through reading, writing, math, physical education, sports, and all of the other courses students take in the course of their intellectual formation.
We can see one and only way to give Uganda a future and that is through the education of their children. By giving them an education, we are giving them a chance to achieve their life goals to become teachers, doctors, entrepreneurs, lawyers etc. We are also giving them a safe environment where they can ‘escape’ from abusive parents, starvation, poverty, neglect and fill them with happiness, love and hope for the future.
Girls and boys who learn to read, write and count will provide a better future for their families and countries. With improved education, so many other areas are positively affected. In short, education has the power to make the world a better place.
We provide a Christian Classical education through passionate and dedicated staff, developing each child’s whole character alongside their academic learning.
Each child is accepted, nurtured, challenged and encouraged. They are inspired to discover and develop their unique God-given abilities as they grow in confidence to see themselves the way Christ sees them.
STAND UP FOR WOMEN GROUP
WHY
In adulthood, women are still treated as second-class citizens both in the public and private spheres. Traditionally, house work is extremely gendered; wives are expected to care for the children, prepare meals, wash laundry, clean the house, tend to crops and even work outside of the home for additional income.
Our project is designed to empower local women in the community. We have focussed the program on women suffering from domestic abuse, widows, single mums or simply women who are just in need!
CHANGE TOMORROW has four approaches to women’s empowerment:
1.
As a faith based organisation, we believe this approach reflects the values of Christ, and we seek to express our Christian faith by serving others in this way. Women in Uganda face a multitude of challenges. Many have found peace, comfort, hope, security and answers to life’s big questions as they uncover the truth in God’s Word. They have access to a teaching that applies the truths of Scripture to daily life along with comprehensive lesson notes on the passage they studied.
2.
Building capacity of the women in agriculture for both household food security and household income, by working with women farmer groups. We train them in agriculture, education and provide some inputs.
3.
Building entrepreneurship skills among the women and encouraging the women to work in groups so as to save and be loanable. We do this by training the women in entrepreneurship skills and encourage them to save as a group then we train them on how to manage their savings and lending activities.
4.
Teaching local women the skills needed for them to be community leaders, leaders of women, to stand up for their rights, to demand equality and to be strong independent entrepreneurs.
